59 YO male with some past, recent, & upcoming experiences in commercial voice overs, stage acting, background, extra, and supporting roll gigs (in short/POC movies) and corporate training gigs.
I can play roles in 40’s, 50’s and 60’s with little or no alterations, and 70’s with makeup. Interested in all genres. Ready to earn my way and do the work. I love helping behind the scenes as well.
Voice acting, featured background or extra and supporting roles are of special interest to me. Also a singer (baritone).
Good with following directions and a team player. Good memory as well.
Not looking for hand-outs – just opportunities to be a part of something awesome.
My lifetime dream of working in a supportive role on stage, on screen, and on voice overs, as well as filming, production, editing, and any area I can get involved on both sides of the lens, was put on hold to raise my daughters, serve in the Navy & SEABEES, and own/operate a few businesses over the past 40+ years. Adult kids are now on their own and raising my grandchildren.
Corporate life also took me traveling internationally, giving me a wealth of life experiences to draw from, in over 40 countries and 44 states in sales & marketing, sales management, coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.
I realized how much lead and supporting acting roles are involved in all of that. Like full-time practicing.
More recently owned/operated a popular high-end auto and motorcycle detailing shop in Avondale (FB: @MyRideGotRobbed – shut down during COVID), and my international & domestic business management, sales, & marketing career is winding down.
As my wife says, it is time for me to pursue my dream.
Give me a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you,
Robb Olmstead
