Lisa Dietsche

Lisa Dietsche – I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. This was a tight-knit community that was safe, with freedom to explore anywhere on my bike, and built life-long relationships with close friends. I am an only child and an only grand child. I was very spoiled growing up. I feel very blessed to have been raised in this community surrounded by my extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as friends.

I have performed in front of young people for years as I am a mother, grandmother, and retired teacher. This profession requires skill to keep students engaged and interested. Talent to use your voice and facial expression to become the characters while reading out loud. Imagination to create engaging lessons to hook them into learning. Resilience to do these tasks all day long and preparing in the evenings. Disciplined professionalism where you are a “warm demander” and an on your feet improviser when a hiccup in your lesson or child’s behavior happens. I have high emotional intelligence that assists in maintaining emotional calmness for myself and my students. I have a bleeding heart for children, and loved my job immensely. On my teams I was willing to collaborate, focus, adapt and have compassion for all students and staff.

My students would describe me as fun, sweet, and patient. I have many handwritten notes, hand picture drawings, photos, and gifts from my students over the years.

I am a friendly, outgoing person who loves new adventures. I am very social and have a large friend group of mom’s. Some of my favorite hobbies are motorcycling, dancing, reading and watching movies. I enjoy creative activities where I can express my voice, movements, and my emotional intelligence.
