I thought Triangle of Sadness was excellent, and is a top favorite of mine for sure. I loved how the director was able to show how realistic it is with the upper class and power dynamics with staff, but while maintaining some deep reality to it instead of pitching things too much. Although they did sort of pitch some things here and there. It was just very well done, and surreal and its all about the subtleties. Its all about how well you can get the nuance right. It was masterful at that.

I am Kevin Cochran, a 40 year old character and comedic actor. I do not yet have film experience besides making my own films of characters talking to one another. Find more info on my YouTube videos at the bottom of my website, www.mrkevincochran.com. I am also a musician which fills most of my website. I currently am writing musical parodies, and you can hear a lot of my characters or voice over type acting on my comedic songs. You can find some of that on the website, or just look up “Kurious Kev” on Spotify.
The Music I posted: “I Got Remarried” is a parody on Bob Marley’s “I Shot the Sheriff”. “Terrible Tie” is a parody on Nine Inch Nails “Terrible Lie” and is very much intended to become a comedic musical video in a corporate work setting. The song about having to work for Coinstar is a parody on Nickleback’s “Rockstar”. The song “That’s what Brandy’s For” is a parody on the old hit “That’s What Friends are For”. The other “musical” track going into outer space is just a musical audio movie I made. I’ve acted as VoiceOver for all characters and voices you hear in the tracks. I created, wrote, recorded, and mixed and mastered all songs I attached. I also re-created all instrumental music on my own to recreate a version of the songs.
I am highly skilled at comedic acting and understand comedic timing very naturally. I also dive deeply and instantly into characters that are far removed from my normal state of being. I typically only can “go there” if there is a camera in front of me and I am forced or asked to perform. I am also skilled at normal drama acting and can fill roles in that way too. But again, I have not yet booked anything professional.
I have attended a few different schools including Jim Jarrett’s Meisner Technique Studio in California (3 months), and Ted Rooney’s classes in Portland, Oregon for film. I did get to act in front of a camera in that class and we all watched our performance afterward. I also acted in a student film once in Chicago but I do not know where that footage is. I recommend checking out my YouTube channels listed on my website.
