Chris S – I am a Tucson-based performer working across motion pictures, television, voice-over, and live theatre, with a strong foundation in long-form and short-form improvisation. My work blends grounded character acting with emotional authenticity, comic timing, and a collaborative spirit shaped by years of ensemble performance.

On screen, I appeared in Miracle Valley, directed by Greg Sestero, contributing to the film’s offbeat tone and character-driven storytelling. I’m drawn to projects that live in the space between humor and humanity. Stories that allow characters to be flawed, surprising, and real.

On stage, I am a core performer and host at Unscrewed Theater, Southern Arizona’s home for improv comedy. Over the years, I have performed in and hosted an estimated 900–1,100 live improv shows, ranging from fully improvised plays and narrative long-form to high-energy short-form comedy and themed productions. In addition to performing, I regularly serve as an emcee and facilitator, guiding audiences through live experiences that rely on presence, adaptability, and trust.

My improv background has deeply informed my on-camera work, sharpening my listening skills, emotional responsiveness, and ability to make strong, quick, specific choices under pressure. Whether working on set or on stage, I value professionalism, generosity, and story above all else.
