Dear Casting Directors,
I am writing to express my interest in acting and filmmaking. As a 21 year-old film student from New York currently studying at Chandler Gilbert Community College in Arizona, I believe my Croatian-Irish descent, diverse background and passion for storytelling as well as my unique perspective would make me a strong addition to your crew.
Growing up in New York and later moving to Arizona has shaped my understanding of different cultures and experiences, both of which have influenced my approach to filmmaking. My passion for the art form has been fueled by a lifelong love for movies, including classics like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2018) and The Batman (2023). These films inspire me through their attention to detail, visual storytelling and character development qualities I strive to emulate in my own work.
Before pursuing my studies in film, I was actively involved in high school football, where I developed invaluable skills in teamwork, discipline and leadership. These experiences have shaped my ability to collaborate effectively in creative environments, ensuring that every project I work on benefits from clear communication and a strong work ethic.
As a film student, I have been honing my skills in both practical and theoretical aspects of filmmaking, from scriptwriting and cinematography to editing and production. I am eager to bring my knowledge, enthusiasm and unique perspective to the Hollywood industry and I am confident that my diverse background and passion for film will allow me to contribute meaningfully to your team.
I’m currently working on my first feature film called or death, as well as I have 2 finished student films up on YouTube one called Z-3 where I was a P.A and a zombie, and my other short student film is called Discman where I wrote and directed the entire project.
